Perched high atop Jebel Hafeet mountain, the Mercure Grand Jebel Hafeet Hotel has enhanced its background music and paging capabilities through a digital audio matrix PA solution supplied by DSPPA in collaboration with local partner Zenith.



Project Overview



The Mercure Grand Jebel Hafeet Hotel sits at the summit of Jebel Hafeet mountain in Al Ain, commanding a one-of-a-kind panoramic vista of the city. This mountaintop resort property spans a variety of functional areas, encompassing the hotel lobby, guest room corridors, dining venue, outdoor garden, and leisure terrace.




The system needs to support flexible background music playback, zone-based audio routing, and intelligible announcement broadcasting across both indoor and outdoor spaces, so as to maintain a comfortable, well-regulated environment for guests and staff alike.





To fulfill these requirements, the project employed the DSPPA MAG808 digital audio matrix as its central host, paired with indoor ceiling speakers and outdoor rock-shaped landscape speakers, delivering versatile zone-based audio coverage throughout the resort.

Powered by the MAG808 solution, the hotel is able to stream customized background music to each individual area while ensuring paging remains clear and precisely targeted, thereby elevating both the guest experience and operational efficiency.


MAG808 8×8 Multi-Functional Integrated PA System


Acting as the central hub of the audio system, the MAG808 8×8 digital audio matrix distributes 8 inputs to 8 outputs, making it possible to direct music or paging to individual hotel zones with dedicated volume regulation—an ideal fit for the intricate indoor and outdoor zoning requirements of this mountain resort.



2-Channel / 4-Channel Digital Power Amplifier


Working in tandem with the multi-zone loudspeaker layout, the digital power amplifiers supply ample and consistent power to the indoor ceiling speakers and outdoor rock speakers. Excellent thermal performance ensures dependable, extended continuous operation in outdoor settings.



1U Multi-Channel Media Player WITH CD/USB/FM/BLUETOOTH


The MAG2107C is a multi-source audio player that combines CD, USB, SD, FM radio, and Bluetooth playback in one unit. Featuring a clear blue LCD display and user-friendly touch controls, it offers versatile audio source selection for everyday background music and paging needs.
