 I. Solution Overview



The school's sports ground includes a standard 400-meter running track, a natural grass football pitch, and a covered spectator stand on its eastern side. The venue measures roughly 170 meters in length and 90 meters in width, and can hold thousands of people for large assemblies. It also needs to support a wide range of sound reinforcement applications at the same time, including routine announcements, athletic competitions, flag-raising ceremonies, and cultural performances.



Sound Reinforcement Challenges

● Extensive Coverage Zone: With an open area measuring 170 m × 90 m, a distributed sound system is needed to ensure even coverage across the entire field.

● SPL Disparity Between Front and Back: The venue's substantial depth results in notable differences in sound pressure levels, so supplementary speakers are required to boost sound in the rear section.

● Outdoor Use in All Weather Conditions: The equipment must have a high ingress protection rating to endure rain, prolonged sun exposure, dust, and temperature swings.

● Varied Usage Scenarios: Routine announcements, sports competitions, flag-raising ceremonies, and cultural performances each place different demands on the sound reinforcement system.

● Superior Speech Clarity: Announcements and national anthem playback call for excellent speech intelligibility, with reverberation kept under control.


 II. LA1428NF / LA1428SF System Diagram for School Playground Application



Signal Processing Workflow:


Audio source signals are combined via the CM16 mixer and then routed through the D6576 feedback suppressor to prevent any risk of acoustic feedback. From there, the signals go to two D6696 processors, where equalization, delay, crossover, and matrix routing are applied. The processed outputs are then fed to PV Series power amplifiers for amplification before driving the loudspeakers to deliver the sound reinforcement.
